Hyaluronic Acid vs Sodium Hyaluronate

Sodium Hyaluronate is commonly known as Hyaluronic Acid. These are very similar substances but at the same time, it has key different effects to your skin.

If you are well aware of Hyaluronic Acid, you probably also know that it is the most popular hydration substance in the current beauty market. There are plenty of beauty or medical products with Hyaluronic acid which is often promoted as a selling point.

No matter how many good products you use for your skin, it will be ineffective if it is not fully absorbed into the skin. In skincare, there is a formula determining how well products penetrate the skin using the molecular weight of its substance properties.

Does Size Matter? Yes It Does!  It's Absorption!

If you ever took some Vitamin tablets previously, you probably have seen the direction saying, "please take it with a meal".  It recommends you to take it with food because it helps with absorption!

When you see the beauty product advertising as Hyaluronic Acid, make sure to look for Sodium Hyaluronate.
